Motorcycling and Men’s Mental Health: Riding with Purpose

The British Motorcyclists Federation is proud to support International Men’s Day on 19th November. A day that shines a light on wellbeing, resilience and community.

For motorcyclists, it’s a timely reminder that the road offers more than just freedom, it can be a space for reflection, connection and support.

As part of our ongoing commitment to rider wellbeing, the BMF actively supports a number of mental health organisations working within the motorcycling community.

These include

Mentell, which provides safe, non-judgemental spaces for men to talk

Mental Health Motorbike, offering peer support and mental health first aid

Motorbiker Acts of Random Kindness, a grassroots movement encouraging kindness and solidarity among riders.

Mentell – Men, is it time to talk? Mental Health Motorbike Make Your Mark Charity

Whether you’re riding solo or with your club, we invite you to take a moment this International Men’s Day to check in with yourself and with others., because sometimes the most powerful support starts with a simple conversation and a shared ride.
