International Volunteer Day BMF News 5 December 20255 December 2025 International Volunteer Day: Celebrating the Heart of the British Motorcyclists Federation Today (5th December) on International Volunteer Day, we proudly celebrate our incredible volunteers who give their time, energy and spirit to keep the motorcycle community alive and thriving. These are the people who make sure every BMF event we provide you, runs with passion, purpose and heart. From the vibrant summer months at our BMF monthly bike meets, held right on the doorstep of our head office by the Lakeside Diner within Mallory Park Race Circuit, to the many hours dedicated to planning, organising and supporting other events, it is our volunteers who remain the true driving force behind every gathering. Visitors enjoy the bikes, the laughter and the atmosphere, but what often goes unseen are the early mornings, the late nights, the problem-solving and the welcoming smiles that make each event feel like home. A special salute goes to those who volunteer their time with us at the ever-popular ‘chilly February’ Crunchy Sleeping Bag Rally, to those who help manage the very popular (always quickly sold-out) Dambuster Rally and who also supported this year’s ‘Connected’ event. Each of these moments take extraordinary effort and without volunteers, they simply wouldn’t happen. Volunteering is more than lending a hand, it’s about belonging, friendships, shared passion and the pride of giving something back to the motorcycling community we all love. So today, we say a heartfelt thank you to every volunteer who helps fuel the British Motorcyclists Federation with their dedication. You are the heartbeat of our community, the engine behind every ride and the reason our community continues to grow. ✨ Feeling Inspired? – If you’d like to be part of our story in 2026, the door is open. 📧 Email your interest to: admin@bmf.co.uk to Join the team – Join the community – Be part of the ride.
