We have a full and varied day of displays, talks, demos, workshops, trails and trials, competitions, have-a-go sessions, film-shows, club stands, lots of traders, information stands and charities. We are focusing on a family friendly, informative, fun event with lots to see and do. Whether you’re a rider or a want to be rider there will be lots for you to enjoy on the day. There will be entertainment throughout the afternoon and live music in evening on Saturday. A range of refreshments will be available throughout the event. Gates open at 9am on Saturday. The event will draw to a close 4pm on Sunday. There will be lots of camping space with ample room for campers, caravans, vans, etc. Ample toilets and showers. Fully accessible camping area, nice firm, level surfaces. Try – a – Ride sessions Have a go trails riding sessions Pro-skills sessions Phoenix Motorcycle Training Try-a-Ride for those who have never ridden before. 30 minute sessions. All protective gear and bike provided, just wear sturdy jeans/trousers and boots. Off-road/Trails area come and have a go at riding trails. 45 minute sessions. bring your own riding equipment, need A2 licence or CBT – will need to show proof. Bike provided. Pro-skills area for those wanting to develop their knowledge and skills. 1 hour sessions, on your own bike. Just bring your own equipment and a willingness to learn. Session 1 – Handling Skills. Session 2 – Slow Control Skills. Session 3 – Braking skills. Session 4 – Increase your confidence. Also many varied talks and demos throughout the day. Leicestershire Fire & Rescue – BikerDown – SUNDAY we will have FULL BIKERDOWN COURSE 10am – 1pm. BOOKING REQUIRED They will have static display, and will be showing introductory video in the talk sessions area. On Sunday there will be running full BikerDown course – more info on how to book on this to follow – BikerDown is a FREE three-hour course for all bikers, giving them an awareness of the dangers at a crash scene, how to deal with a casualty and how to increase visibility to other road users.
