Heatwave Doesn’t Stop Riders at July BMF Bike Meet

The summer heat may have been relentless, but it certainly didn’t stop riders from making their way to Mallory Park Race Circuit for another fantastic BMF Bike Meet. With temperatures soaring to 34°C, Mallory Park Race Circuit welcomed almost 300 motorcycles, with riders arriving throughout the evening to enjoy another memorable gathering filled with great bikes, friendly faces and a welcoming community atmosphere.

Despite the exceptionally hot weather and the start of the school holidays in some regions, the atmosphere was buzzing as riders travelled from across the county and beyond to catch up with friends, admire a fantastic variety of motorcycles and browse the evening’s range of exhibitors.

One of the highlights of the evening was welcoming the Mallor-E Park racers, aged between 3 and 14 years old, who were already camped on site ahead of their race weekend. They spent time exploring the bike meet, chatting with exhibitors and soaking up the atmosphere, reinforcing the importance of inspiring young riders and nurturing the future of our motorcycling community.

Alongside the Mallor-E Park racers, it was also encouraging to see plenty of 125cc L-plate motorcycles in attendance, together with families arriving by car to enjoy the evening. It highlighted how the BMF Bike Meets continue to appeal to riders and visitors of all ages and experience levels, bringing the wider motorcycling community together in one place.

Visitors had plenty to explore with another excellent line-up of exhibitors. The BMF gazebo welcomed members and non-members alike, offering information about the Federation, the many benefits of BMF membership and how the BMF continues to champion the rights, interests and future of motorcycling. Joining us were BikeTrac, The Curvy Riders, MotoTagz, Leicestershire Police with their Speed Awareness Camera Van, and It’s Legit Racing, showcasing their impressive Triumph Daytona 660 TT race bike, running on 40% sustainable fuel.

Keeping everyone refreshed throughout the evening was the ever-popular Lakeside Diner & Bar, serving a selection of hot and cold food and beverages, while Cupola Coffee & Cakes, located within the Rotunda, provided freshly brewed coffee, cold drinks and sweet treats that were especially welcome in the summer heat.

One of the many visitors to stop by the BMF stand was Eric Wilkes, who shared how beneficial he found the BMF Blue Riband Advanced Motorcycle Course, which he completed with BMF Instructor Kev Mulligan. Eric was keen to tell us how much the training had improved his riding and proudly showed us his BMF membership card. It’s always encouraging to hear such positive feedback from our members and to see the difference BMF training is making.

A sincere thank you to everyone who visited the BMF stand throughout the evening, whether you purchased some of our merchandise, picked up information about the Federation, or took the time to learn more about the work we do to support, protect and represent motorcyclists. If you picked up information about becoming a member, we hope you’ll consider joining us. Every membership helps strengthen the voice of motorcycling and supports the BMF’s work in protecting and promoting the interests of riders across the UK.(and if you enter the code BMF1007 before the 19th July you’ll not only receive a 20% discount but you’ll be entered in to win a goody bag too which is to be drawn later in the year)

A huge thank you also goes to Joao Raposo Photography for once again capturing the evening. If you attended the Bike Meet, be sure to check out the event gallery to see if you can spot yourself. Prints are available to purchase through Joao Raposo Photography’s website and Facebook page, so don’t miss the opportunity to take home a lasting memory of another fantastic evening at Mallory Park.

We would also like to thank all of our exhibitors for supporting another successful event, and a special thank you goes to our dedicated BMF marshals and volunteers. From setting up the event and directing arriving motorcycles to assisting exhibitors and visitors throughout the evening, their hard work behind the scenes helps make every Bike Meet such a success.

With just two BMF Bike Meets remaining in 2026—Friday 28 August and Friday 25 September, we’re looking forward to welcoming riders, exhibitors and visitors back to Mallory Park Race Circuit for two more fantastic evenings.

If your business, organisation or motorcycle club would like to exhibit at one of our remaining Bike Meets, we’d love to hear from you. Please contact Max or Helen for further information.

Finally, don’t forget to tag the British Motorcyclists Federation in your photos and posts. We love seeing the event through your eyes, so be sure to use #BritishMotorcyclistsFederation and #BMFBikeMeet so we can like, comment on and share your memories with the wider biking community.

We look forward to seeing you all again soon!
