BMF Blue Riband FREE Region 2 Rider Development Taster Day

FREE Region 2 – Yorkshire and North East – Rider Development BMF Blue Riband Taster Day – Saturday the 15th of April 2023

Have you ever thought of increasing your enjoyment of motorcycling by developing your riding skills further? The BMF Blue Riband Rider Award Development programme aims to do just that by helping you to improve your observation, planning and control, giving you greater confidence and helping you to become a safer rider.

This free to attend taster day will give you the opportunity to explore that journey and find out how you could benefit from the knowledge and experience of our friendly and supportive rider coaches. After a short briefing you will be able to benefit from a 45 minute “observed” ride with one of our experienced coaches. Following the ride, you will receive a detailed debrief focusing both on your strengths and any opportunities for improvement.

The event will be hosted at the 3D Motorcycle Training Facility in Tockwith, near York and run between 9am and 5pm. All observed rides will depart and return to the venue using a selection of pre-determined routes designed to take in varying riding scenarios. As well as the one-to-one coaching sessions there will also be the opportunity to discuss and find out more about the Blue Riband Rider Award, chat to the riding coaches and have a go on the slow speed riding challenge.

To ensure that you receive the best possible one-to-one coaching, places on the day are extremely limited with just 18 slots available. To confirm your place, please contact BMF Regional Rep Alex by email  or call 07702229311 without delay!

All participants will be riding their own motorcycles and must ensure that both they, and their machines are fully insured and road legal.

Everyone who attends on the day will be entered into a draw with the chance to win a half-day Blue Riband coaching session with one of the riding coaches.
