Star Bikers 47th Charity Toy Run Other news 8 December 202510 December 2025 🏍️ Star Bikers 47th Charity Toy Run: Stoke-on-Trent Rides for Christmas Cheer On Sunday 30th November 2025, Stoke-on-Trent witnessed one of its most cherished traditions – the Star Bikers 47th Annual Charity Toy Run. With around 2,000 motorcycles taking part, the streets came alive with the roar of engines, festive spirit and the generosity of bikers determined to make Christmas brighter for children who might otherwise go without. The Route and Atmosphere The run set off from the bet365 Stadium at 11am, winding its way through Trentham, Blurton, Weston Coyney, Bentilee, Baddeley Green, Milton, Sneyd Green and Northwood. Along the route hundreds of local residents lined the streets, many holding out carrier bags filled with toys for bikers to collect. The atmosphere was electric with families waving, children cheering and riders stopping to gather donations before continuing the procession. Despite the crisp late-November chill, the weather held fair adding to the festive mood. The sight, sound & smell of thousands of bikes riding together, decorated with tinsel and festive touches created a spectacle that has become a proud Stoke-on-Trent tradition since the first run in 1977. Final Destination and Celebration The cavalcade arrived at King’s Hall in Stoke between 12:10 and 12:30pm, where the toys were delivered to the collection point. The arrival was marked by a celebratory gathering with food and drink stalls, live music, and stands from local organisations, including the Blood Bikers and DocBike, who showcased their vital work in the community. Gifts and Fundraising Each rider contributed a suggested donation of £2, alongside bringing toys to donate. With thousands of bikers and countless gifts collected along the route, the charity amassed an impressive haul of presents and funds to support local children in need. Within days of the run the Star Bikers charity issued an appeal for volunteers to help sort the mountain of toys into organised stacks, ready for distribution whilst more and more donations were continuing to arrive from supporting business and venue drop-off points. This vital step ensures that gifts are allocated efficiently, making life easier for those coordinating the deliveries to families across Stoke-on-Trent. — ⭐Event Update – As of the 8th December – Final Figures Coming Soon The Star Bikers Charity is currently sorting and allocating the thousands of toys collected during the 47th Annual Toy Run.
